How much yarn do I need?

Assuming a gauge of 4 stitches to the inch in stockinette stitch (estimates are approximate depending on your tension):

  • Stroller: 450 yards for the cone, 150 yards for ice cream size 22” x 28”
  • Baby: 550 yards for the cone, 200 yards for ice cream 28” x 36”
  • Small: 700 yards for the cone, 250 yards for ice cream size 34” x 40”
  • Medium: 900 yards for the cone, 300 yards for ice cream size 36” x 46”
  • Large: 1200 yards for the cone, 400 yards for ice cream size 42” x 50”
