Judy’s Prayer Shawl

I knit this prayer shawl for my dear sister-in-law who battled pancreatic cancer with such determination and spirit but lost the battle.

Every stitch was knit with love and hope for her and I will miss her forever.

The name of the shawl is Sprig Of Hope by Robin Wiest.

The instructions were clearly written and I thoroughly enjoyed knitting it.

The Yarn was a super soft worsted weight called Lancaster Alpaca, colorway Red.

I used a size 6 needle, even though most people would use an 8, because I am such a loose knitter.  I highly recommend this beautiful shawl pattern.
