Spiral Stained Glass Cowl

The Spiral Stained Glass Window Cowl is made with Malabrigo Yarn Caracol, which gives those beautiful colors with black yarn weaved among them, giving it a stained glass window look.  I used one skein (90 yards) of this wonderful yarn.

Here are the basics of how I made the cowl:

Use a US size 11 needle (I used a 9 because I am such a loose knitter)

CO 53.

Join to knit in the round.  Do not place marker.
K4, p4 until done.
BO.

It just could not be simpler!
