I used Plymouth Yarn Encore for this hat. Cast on 70 stitches and used this snowflake chart:
Once I got to 7″ I decreased fast by k2tog a round, knit, k2tog a round, knit. Then cut thread and weaved thru ends. Made a large pompom. The hat is a tiny bit big for a 3 year old. Next time I would try 66 stitches and a different chart.
