This hat is made with Vanna’s Choice Worsted Weight Acrylic Yarn, size 6 needles. I cast on 48 stitches and knit 9 rows. On the 10th row I knit through the back loop to stop the curling. From there I knit 2 3/4 inches and then started the berry baby hat pattern, free on ravelry. The top of the hat is 2 1/2 inches long. I made a 4 stitch i-cord for the top knot. The hat is 5 3/4 inches with the brim rolled up. It barely fits my 8 month old grandson. If I unroll the hat it fits him, making the hat 6 1/4″ long. it’s 13″ around. I also made the same hat for a 2 1/2 year old. The dimensions are 15″ by 6 1/2″ with the brim unrolled.
