Fair Isle Fun Hat

This hat was made for an adult.  I made up the pattern – cast on 80 stitches, then knit a row with 1 MC and 1 BC.  Then k1 MC, P1 BC.  I pulled the yarn in front for the BC purl, then pulled it back and knit 1 stitch with the MC.  Then I knit a couple rows, increasing to 100 stitches.  I used charts that I found online to make the design in the hat.  Made a pompom and voila, a hat!  It was about 17 inches in circumference and fit great.  I loved making this hat.  I used Cascade Venezia for the MC and Madeline Tosh DK for the BC.  Really a nice squishy and warm hat.
