I used Three Irish Girls yarn Springvale Worsted, 100% merino wool. Machine wash gentle, lay flat to dry.
Size 6 needle, knitted flat, not in the round
– Cast on 92 stitches and knit for about an inch.
– k2tog all the way around for 46 stitches.
– purl and knit as usual for 4 rows, then on the wrong side, knit, then next row k2tog yo all the way across then on wrong side knit
– knit and purl for about 3 1/2 inches
– k2tog all the way around then purl back until there are 4 stitches on the needles
– BO and sew up the seam
