I made this hat in 2 days, size 2T. It’s 14″ in diameter at the brim, very stretchy. It’s 8″ tall, not including the pompom.

Knit a round
Next round, increase by 6 stitches to 60 stitches
Knit 4 more rounds
Garter stitch 5 rounds (purl row, knit row, purl row, knit row, purl row)
Seed stitch 5 rounds (K1, P1, K1, P1… next round P1, K1, P1, K1)

purl 2 rounds yellow
knit 3 rounds blue
purl 2 rounds yellow
