Cora’s Mousy Warm Hat

The pattern for this darling hat came from “More” Little Monster Knits.  I used the basic hat pattern from “Chirpy Chick” but left off the beak and made ears instead.

I used size 4 needles on the brim and size 5 on the rest of the hat and Berocco Vintage worsted weight yarn.  Super soft and blocked up so beautifully!  The ears were made by Casting on 25 stitches and then knitting a row, with pink.  Switched to Phildar Neige to make the furry little ears.  I knit 4 rows with that, then ran the cut yarn through the live 25 stitches and pulled tight.  Sewed them on to the hat with the pink loose ends.  Super cute!
